Template Licenses
Last updated: September 3, 2026
IMPORTANT: Because our marketplace may feature templates from various creators or with specialized functionality, each template may have its own specific license terms included in its download files or product description. The specific license associated with the purchased product always takes precedence over these general guidelines.
When you purchase a template from ViryberX, you are acquiring a license to use that digital product under specific conditions. Below are the general guidelines for our standard licensing tiers.
1. Personal Use
A standard Personal License allows you to use the purchased template for a single, personal project (such as your personal blog or portfolio). You may modify the template to suit your needs, but you cannot use it for a project that generates direct revenue or for a client.
2. Commercial & Client Projects
If the template includes a Commercial License, you are permitted to use it to create a website for your business or for a single client project. If you intend to use the template for multiple clients, you must purchase a separate license for each client project, unless an unlimited/agency license was specifically offered and purchased.
3. Restrictions on Redistribution & Reselling
Under all standard licenses, strict restrictions apply to the redistribution of the source code. You may NOT:
- Resell, redistribute, or lease the template source code (even if modified).
- Include the template in a website builder, theme generator, or UI kit.
- Extract core components to sell them as a separate product.
- Upload the template to another template marketplace (e.g., ThemeForest) claiming it as your own.
- Provide the raw source code publicly on open-source repositories (e.g., public GitHub repos).
4. Source-Code Redistribution
If a client requires access to the source code of the end-product (the final compiled or built website), you may transfer the project to them. However, you must inform them that they are bound by the same licensing restrictions and cannot resell or redistribute the template source code as a standalone product.
